Description
Al Capone at St. Andrews – Mint Marker Ball Marker
Available in Silver Plate, Copper, and Brass
Description:
Infamous. Iconic. Irresistibly smooth.
This collectible Mint Marker celebrates the unexpected—and historically documented—connection between Al Capone and the Old Course at St. Andrews. Known for his iron will and sharp suits, Capone also had a soft spot for the sport of kings. He famously visited the legendary Scottish links multiple times, and prized among his possessions was a custom set of clubs and a leather bag acquired during one of his stays in St. Andrews.
The obverse features a detailed portrait of Capone, mid-smirk and mid-cigar, exuding charm and menace in equal measure. The reverse captures the timeless Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole at St. Andrews, where whispers of mob money and mulligans still linger in the Scottish breeze.
A fitting tribute to the most notorious gentleman golfer who ever lived—whether or not the scorecard told the whole story.
